I remember being so excited and hyped to photograph this show. New venue, new Phoenix tour, old love for their music. I was procrastinating putting off camera cleaning and just decided to clean my sensor at home (for the first time). I crossed my fingers and prayed it would all work out.
I blinked and this set was over, not really double checking or trying to be "small" in the pit. This is my favorite set from 2022. I was so proud of how these all turned out and how much I have grown from a few mouths out of a full-time 9-5. I never say that I am proud of myself or the progress I've made (always having one foot in how to get better). I stepped back and looked around on the last song we could be in pit, and i remember seeing so many smiles from the crowd and Phoenix just jamming. It truly was a full-circle moment for me.
