Last Saturday, I got to photograph one of my favorite live performers. Maggie Rogers had hit up Boston on a three sold-out run starting off her Feral Joy tour. This show had been highly requested and was over the moon I got approved. The whole time up until the show my hands were shaking and I kept uttering "I'm so excited" to my family.
The last time I saw Maggie live was back in 2019 when she preformed in Indianapolis. Since then, she has cut her hair and has got even more popular. This show at RoadRunner held about 3.5k people and even though I rarely didn't pay attention to how packed it was, the line was wrapped around the venue almost twice. Del Water Gap had opened up and was excited the crowd showed up for them.
This concert was special to be at. From the other creatives I got to finally meet in person and the just overall happiness everyone had to be there had made the night so bright. In pit we got to hear Overdrive, Want Want, and Dog Days. This set was the first concert of 2023 (and 25--turned 25 just about a week ago) for me and glad it set the bar so high for what to expect.
