I had the opportunity to photograph Greta Van Fleet, a band that has helped shape so much of my creative journey after college, this past October. My first time photographing an arena show and first time seeing them live was for Tongue Tied Magazine back in March. Both shows, I had been overwhelming anxious simply for the fact that they are four talented musicians. It was such an amazing show and as much as they are active with the crowd, they are interactive with one another on stage. I could write a whole novel on why everyone should attend a show but I'll save that for later.

Just a little over a year ago, I was struggling with depression and anxiety. I heard them back in 2019 when a friend sent me their album on Spotify but didn't think too much (I was really only immersed in alternative/indie music at the time). A few years later, they popped on my for you page on TikTok and the rest was history. I've been able to meet so many like-minded friends and my creative spark quickly returned. Not many shows I photograph have this much of a significant meaning to it, but with Greta Van Fleet, it meant the world to be the pit.

"On their Dreams in Gold tour, Greta Van Fleet had stopped by Mohegan Sun bringing nothing but their best to the stage. Fans were all for it as Robert Finley and Houndmouth opened up the night. On this run of over sixty arenas and venues, Greta Van Fleet had surpassed expectations once again".
